Organization of
Petroleum Exporting Countries production rose by 75,000 barrels a day to an
average 29.988 million last month, according to a Bloomberg survey of oil companies, producers and analysts on May 29. Saudi Arabia, the group’s biggest producer, bolstered output by 70,000
barrels a day to 9.67 million, the country’s first gain this year.
OPEC ministers
will next meet on June 11 in Vienna to discuss production targets.

The nation has become the smallest producer in OPEC during the past year as
